Nimrod - T-shirt Colour:Black This profile is Hurricane LF363Hawker Siddeley Nimrod The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod entered service with Royal Air Force in 1969 and was retired in 2011. This maritime patrol aircraft was a development of the de Havilland Comet. It replaced the Avro Shackleton in the anti submarine role and anti surface warfare. Later in its service life it took on the Airborne Early Warning role, eventually replaced by the Sentry.
