This is the second of two decks of lovely antique French Gatteaux playing cards I recently purchased from a seller in France

but with just the right amount of detailing for the seams

and to my eye this one is about perfect as it gets

The grey strom clouds looming on the horizon amplify the effect, all while this little girl dreams away, completely oblivious. Just great, and in great condition, in a perfectly suited old black painted wooden frame. 9
