Boislauzon, Chateauneuf Du Pape Quet Vintage:2009 attractive flavors that finish abruptlyBased on 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvdre, the 2009 Chteauneuf Du Pape Cuvee Du Quet is showing beautifully, with a powerful, rich, yet seamless style. Ripe black cherries, black licorice, roasted garrigue, meat, tapenade, and Provenal notes all emerge from the glass. It's full bodied, has a deep, layered mid palate, sweet tannins, and a great finish. I'd say it's drinking at point today, yet it has the density, depth, and balance to evolve gracefully
