Very Naive and Very Sweet Boy Scout Relief Carved Totem faceted vase The dealer I purchased itFound in Pennsylvania, surely made by a boy scout long ago (c. 1920s 40s I believe) and which I found too earnestly hard trying and full of life to resist. The eagle with its wings spread feels simultaneously humble and proud in a great way, and the carved teeth and nostrils on the creature below (looks rather like a dinosaur!) I think are really are excellent. Lots of sweet old boy scout carved totem poles out there, but less often do I see a relief
