Mauro Veglio, Barolo Rocche Annunziata Vintage:2016 There is an interesting hintIn 2014 this is the finest of the four Barolos from this modernist estate. It has a sweet, leafy nose with ripe raspberry fruit. The attack is assertive but perfectly ripe, concentrated with firm tannins and ample acidity without any astringency. The finish is sleek and long, with no rough edges. Aged in one third new barriques.
