Lovely 1849 PA German Love Token in Watercolored Paper Lace Envelope bear sculpture 20 1/2" long x 6"A lovely little valentine, or prayer blessing of sorts, delivered in a very lovely embossed and watercolored four flap envelop. My German is pretty much non existent, but I've translated the beginning of the card inside to glean "oh child, God didn't give life just for this short time" or something along these lines.
