hints of thyme and cedar and lashings of black cherries

black berry and violet nuances along with plenty of earth influence where the supporting wood character is more discreet

Raveneau, Chablis Montmains Size:12x750ml This is not a wine(from relatively young vines based in Montmains proper). Here the expressive nose mixes primarily floral notes with hints of citrus, pear, sea breeze and quinine along with a nuance of exotic fruit. There is a relatively soft, indeed even tender mouth feel to the lightly mineral inflected medium weight flavors that display a touch of salinity on the delicious if slightly warm finish. This too should be approachable young if desired. (90) 2018+
