I would like to have a proper desk in a proper office just so I could set this on it announcing my comings and goings

It is in excellent condition and measures 8 1/2" across at handles

They feel to me midway between Italian reliquaries and Victorian glass domed waxworks

She makes me think a bit of Laura Dern in Wild at Heart, and of the mother in Shameless, and she's definitely got a bit of the mermaid and a bit of the country western singer to her too. And a bit of the figurehead; I imagine her mounted to the dashboard of a classic 1970s car, guiding the way forward (perhaps in the wrong direction.) 7 5 8" x 4 3
