Wounded But Lovely Antique Hand-carved Bird on Wire major arcana Ruler 4 3/8" lObviously there's been a repair to the tail on this bird, and a bit of loss to the edge of one wing too, but you know I have a weakness for wounded animals, and I find this old carved bird in its old creamy white paint so beautiful, there was no way I could resist. The wire hanger is original to it and runs all the way through the body, and I believe the black eyes are glass. Definitely an old one, 19th c. American I believe, found in New Hampshire. 6
