This little dog has floppy ears and a very sweet if a bit sad-looking face

I believe they were intended for children

The smaller measures 3 5/8" in diameter and 1 1/16" tall

I've been long admiring old ivory dominoes, but I must say I like these even better, with creamy white painted tin faces inlaid over ebony wood, and gorgeously irregular they really look like a painting! The back sides, featuring a hunting dog in slight relief, are pretty great too. I believe these date to the 1920 30s, and they come in their original box, which features very faint text on the underside
