This is the smaller of two abstract vintage watercolors I'm listing by the same unknown artist

It appears this was cut down along the bottom from a larger bookplate

with the color perfectly softened over time

feeling like comrades to their maker

To me he looks one part toddler and one part old man and definitely as if a loner in the world, really rather existential feeling. Great little ears too. . 2 5 16" t x 3 4" w x 7 8" d and in very good old vintage condition, I'd guess 1920s 40s or so.
