a few slices of "betal nut" are wrapped in betel leaf

Old Carved Wooden Doll with Leather Arms heart-shaped 9 5/8" tall including postNot a lot in the way of details a carved triangle for a nose, a straight line for a mouth, and the general suggestion of ears on the sides of the head but really a sweet one I think, and a pretty old one, too. The arms are leather strips, attached with old iron nails, and I love how they are now curled a bit to follow the silhouette of the body. And he stands up proudly on his own. 7 1 2" t x 2" w x 1 1 8" d and in good, I believe antique, condition.
