Fruits in Blues and Yellow, Wonderful 19th Century Theorem Watercolor, Framed treen egg Elaine Bolz received a BFAAs lovely a 19th century theorem watercolor as I have had and with a wonderful sort of surreal ness about it too, between the intense blues of those berries and grapes and the soft edged lines on that footed bowl, which keeps reminding me of the paintings of Roger Brown! Much richer and lusher feeling in person, strong and radiant. And with the bowl set on what looks like a smoke decorated tabletop (rendered in charcoal I believe) with a spray of pink
