I believe these two date to the late 19th century or very early 20th century

To My Love, Old Crayoned Valentine from Alice with Woven Paper Heart Corners carved alabaster as evident from flip sideIt may be Halloween season, but in my book it's always time for a Valentine, and I could never wait until February to share one as charming as this, made by Alice for her Aunt Hazel a hundred years or so ago I'd guess. I love the big bold red crayoned heart, but the woven paper hearts at the corners make it especially special. 5 1 4" x 4 1 6" and in good condition, bright and bold, with a little loss to the top right woven heart.
