Pair of Antique 19th Century English William IV Brass and Rosewood Needlepoint Fire/Pole Screens, Circa 1830 Sold This item has recently soldA fine pair of Antique 19th Century English William IV Brass and Rosewood Needlepoint Fire Pole Screens, Circa 1830. The screens having brass stems with turned finials mounted with adjustable shield shaped screens with the original needlepoint. The needlepoint is very finely and delicately rendered, once screen showing a peasant in a leafy setting, the other with a roundel of flowers & leaves. The bases are made of rosewood and have turned and fluted
