2019 Vigneti Vecchio ‘Sciare Vive’ Etna Rosso, Sicily, Italy Plageoles lying between 5 and 25ºCrafted from 90% Nerello Mascalese co fermented with 10% indigenous white varieties (Minnella, Inzolia, Carricante, Grecanico, Catarratto, Malvasia), this wine hails from pre phylloxera vines aged 50130 years, planted in fine volcanic sand at elevations of 6001,200 meters on the northern slopes of Mount Etna.
