Becker Wallufer Berg Bildstock Riesling Spatlese, Rheingau, Germany La Furtiva 350ft elevationBecker makes Rheingau Prdikat wines like they were made 100 years ago which is to say with very little residual sugar. Beckers Sptlese have less residual sugar (by probably 20 30 grams?) than nearly everyone elses the 23 Bildstock has just over 20 grams, total. (Consider that a wine like Lauer's "Barrel X" has about 18 grams.) Yet here we have lower acids and more alcohol, so the wines have texture and bite. Seriously, this is a Sptlese to have with
