The winemaking is very simple
2021 Weingut Velich Tiglat Chardonnay, Burgenland, Austria Amoise United States 1Velichs iconic Chardonnay, from old vines planted in 1959 in Burgenlands Seewinkel, where limestone rich soils meet a unique microclimate shaped by shallow salt lakes. Fermented spontaneously in a mix of used barrique and 500L oak, then aged nearly two years on full lees without btonnage, Tiglat is both expansive and precise. Its a wine of stature, but not flashbuilt to age, with serious grace.
